As a landlord, there is nothing better than to have a good tenant. What then are the commonalities that good tenants share?
*History of rent payments. This is usually a great indicator of future pay tendencies.
*Treating property with respect (Treat it as if it were their own).
*Adheres to, and abides by, the contract.
*Respectful of the neighbors.
*Takes ownership of the property (does not call you to change a light bulb!).
Once you find a good tenant, it also becomes a two-way street for the landlord. Good, quality tenants are hard to find so the landlord needs to do their part. Landlords need to address all tenant concerns or needs in a timely fashion. This displays to the tenant that you are attentive towards them and makes for a good experience for those tenants. The happy tenant increases the chances for the lease renewal which makes everyone happy!
